Key Requirements

• Quality System: Contractors must maintain a quality system compliant with ISO-9001 (or MIL-I-45208) and calibration system requirements of ISO-10012 or ANSI-Z540.3 (or MIL-STD-45662).
• Traceability & Certification: Strict material traceability and certification (chemical, mechanical, test) are required for all special emphasis materials.
• Welding: Specific welding procedures, qualification data, and certifications are mandated, with prior approval required.
• Drawings: Access to drawings may require a security agreement due due to NOFORN and/or Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information. Request access on SAM.gov and email the Primary POC.
• Pricing: Offerors must submit NOT TO EXCEED (NTE) or FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP) for repair, approximate cost of new item, and a beyond repair (BR)/beyond economic repair (BER) price. Shipping costs should NOT be included.
• Government Furnished Property (GFP): GFP will be provided, requiring documented control procedures.
