SUBJECT: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District Industry Day Notification for Patton Hall New Strategic Engagement Platform Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Virginia

Date: TBD (Tentitively during the week of Nov 3rd-7th)                                            Time: TBD
Location: Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall
                (Exact location TBD)
                Fort Myer, VA. 22211

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) invites industry representatives to attend an Industry Day. This event will provide an overview of the construction of the new Patton Hall New Strategic Engagement Platform located at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Virginia utilizing the Design-Build to Budget (DB2B) acquisition approach and provide one-on-one opportunities with interested Prime Contractors.

The procurement will be a competitive design-build that seeks to optimize the budget in terms of quality, scope, durability, and life-cycle cost. The budget, or the design and construction cost ceiling, will be disclosed and evaluation will focus on ‘mission critical’ factors and innovative betterments and enhancements within the budget with award to a best solution and not the ‘cheapest’ proposal.

This Industry Day is intended to provide a forum for engaging with industry experts to gather and share information about this project and its planned acquisition strategy.

Due to the capacity of the location, we will be limiting attendees to two (2) persons per company.

Participation in this Industry Day does not constitute a commitment by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to award a contract, nor does it provide any advantage in the competitive procurement process.

Further details regarding the time, location, agenda, registration process, and specific project focuses will be forthcoming. Please anticipate a follow-on notice with detailed information. Please direct all questions and concerns to Contract Specialist Robert Ferebee at robert.l.ferebee@usace.army.mil and Contract Specialist Amber Rose at amber.l.rose@usace.army.mil.

We look forward to your participation.
