Scope of Work

The requirement is for comprehensive academic and hands-on PC-12 Initial Maintenance Training. The training aims to qualify maintenance personnel in servicing, troubleshooting, inspection, and ground operations, ensuring proficiency and safe operations for NASA maintainers. The curriculum must include Aircraft Systems Overview, Powerplant Systems, Maintenance Practices, Troubleshooting, and Ground Operations. Instruction must meet applicable FAR Parts 39, 43, and 65. Training methods should utilize aircraft system trainers, component mockups, or equivalent devices for practical exercises, employing instructor-led classes, supervised hands-on exercises, multimedia resources, and scenario-based troubleshooting. The contractor must provide all necessary training materials and, upon successful completion, issue a proficiency certificate for each student. Training is to be conducted at the Contractor's qualified training facility, which must be a permanent building with an environment conducive to learning. Instructors must be highly qualified in aviation/aircraft maintenance and hold a formal instructor rating or equivalent.
