Scope of Work
The selected contractor will provide initial maintenance training for four NASA maintainers at their qualified training facility. The training must cover servicing, troubleshooting, inspection, and ground operations of the PC-12 aircraft, adhering to FAR Parts 39, 43, and 65. Key training content includes:
- Aircraft Systems Overview: Airframe, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, environmental, flight controls, avionics, ice protection.
- Powerplant Systems: Engine operation, controls, indications, interfaces, performance monitoring.
- Maintenance Practices: Publications, scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, servicing, ground handling.
- Troubleshooting: Fault isolation, diagnostics, corrective actions, safety.
- Ground Operations: Engine run procedures, maintenance-specific taxi operations. Training methods will include instructor-led classes, supervised hands-on exercises using aircraft system trainers or mockups, multimedia resources, and scenario-based troubleshooting. All necessary training materials and a proficiency certificate upon completion are required.

Submission & Evaluation
Quotes must be submitted via email to Tracy Bremer at tracy.g.bremer@nasa.gov. Contractual and technical questions must also be submitted in writing to Tracy Bremer by the specified deadline. Award will be made to the responsible Offeror whose offer is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Offers not deemed technically acceptable will be removed from consideration. Offerors must be registered at www.sam.gov and provide their Cage Code/UEI and ARO Delivery Time with their quote.
Special Requirements
The contractor must provide personnel, facilities (permanent, conducive to learning, with AV, seating, climate control, dedicated classroom), equipment, and training materials. Instructors must be highly qualified in aviation/aircraft maintenance with an Instructor Rating or equivalent. Training procedures should conform to the contractor's commercial programs.
