Scope of Work
The required services include comprehensive on-site field representative support for Submarine HM&E systems such as High Data Rate Antenna, Towed Buoy, Communications Antenna, Imaging/Periscope, Universal Modular Masts, Radar/Navigation, Snorkel Induction, Electronic Support Measure Mast, and Sail Closure Door Systems. Work will be performed globally, including shore stations and onboard submarines, both in port and at sea.
Specific tasks encompass:
- Providing on-site technical support to the submarine force, shipyards, and maintenance activities.
- Offering program and financial administrative support.
- Conducting various inspections (Pre Overseas Movement, Close-Out, INSURV, Post Refit, Depot Availability).
- Reviewing and validating technical documentation, and performing Configuration Management Audits.
- Supporting installation teams, and providing SUBSAFE and Level I technical assistance.
- Delivering training for ships and Fleet Maintenance Activity repair personnel.
- Representing the Type Commander & Squadron Sail Zone Technical Expert at meetings.
- Developing, maintaining, and supporting the Sail In-Service Representative Support System (SIRSS) web-based database.
- Updating training courses and developing annual technical presentations and reports.
