Scope of Effort
DISA seeks solutions with comprehensive capabilities in two main areas:
- PDF Software: Creation, management, and manipulation of PDF documents, including reading, viewing, creating, converting, exporting, editing, reviewing, annotating, redacting, and secure electronic signatures.
- Forms Management: Robust capabilities across the entire form lifecycle, including design, creation of complex multi-page documents, seamless web integration, and deployment to various platforms. Solutions must feature dynamic, adaptive forms with scripting. All solutions must ensure Section 508 compliance, provide mobile accessibility, and deliver mission-critical analytics.
Requested Information
Vendors should describe how their products integrate with DoW-specific security requirements and networks. Key information requested includes:
- Previous Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Impact Level assessment scores.
- Details of other security tests passed.
- Training requirements and offerings.
- Method of application operation without active network access (offline/online versions).
- Confirmation of Section 508 compliance and support for meta-tagging.
- Detailed PDF capabilities, including NARA compliance, file interoperability, digital signature integration (CAC compatibility), and content redaction (including FOIA exception codes).
- Forms management capabilities, including point-and-click form building, responsive design, reusable components, logic definition, and data integration.
