Quick Summary

The Department of the Interior, National Park Service, is soliciting proposals for a Firm Fixed-Price contract to remove, dispose of, and replace six fire alarm panels and six fire alarm control panels at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial in Hawaii. This opportunity is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Quotes are due June 1, 2026, at 2:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time.

Scope of Work

This project involves the comprehensive replacement of fire alarm and control panels across Buildings D, F, G, H, I, and the Facilities Maintenance Building.

  • Fire Alarm Systems: Removal and proper disposal of existing UL-listed fire alarm panels and control panels, followed by the installation of new UL-listed replacements. This includes inspection, cleaning, and repair/replacement of associated components like circuit breakers, wiring, and grounds. New systems must interface with the existing KingFisher monitoring system. Existing Keltron 90 Series printer equipment and WAVES mass notification system components are to be removed and disposed of.
  • Fire Suppression Systems: Inspection of check valves, pumps, fittings, pipes, and sprinkler heads for leaks in Buildings G, H, I, and the Maintenance Shop. Pumps are to be disassembled, inspected, and cleaned.
  • Exclusions: Fire extinguishers are explicitly excluded from this contract.
  • Important Clarification: Related devices (pull stations, detectors, speakers, strobes) and fire suppression system component replacements required due to code compliance must be bid as separate bid alternates, not included in the base bid.
