Scope of Work
The contractor will provide heavy construction equipment rental for Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. The required equipment includes, but is not limited to:
- Two CAT Class 952–7050 loaders or equivalent
- One CAT CP44B compactor or equivalent
- One CAT CS44 roller or equivalent
- One CAT 926 loader or equivalent The overall requirement is for approximately 20 pieces of equipment, encompassing types such as excavators, dump bodies, rollers, loaders, water trucks, telehandlers, man lifts, and scissor lifts. All equipment must be "Brand Name or Equal."
The scope includes all necessary personnel, labor, supervision, management, supplies, tools, equipment, parts, materials, transportation, shipping, and delivery. All work must comply with federal, state, local laws, regulations, manufacturer's specifications, and commercial practices. Equipment must be delivered Not Later Than (NLT) May 15, 2026, and be available for use from May 15, 2026, through September 30, 2026. The government reserves the right to modify quantities.
Contractor Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Transporting equipment to the construction site at Malmstrom AFB.
- Providing a supervisor fluent in English with decision-making authority.
- Performing all routine preventative maintenance and repairs due to normal wear-and-tear.
- Providing a detailed maintenance schedule and daily inspection checklist for each piece of equipment.
- Ensuring repairs are completed within 48 hours of a call, or providing substitute equipment within 24 hours if the rented equipment is inoperable.
- Adhering to military installation requirements, including cleanup, incident reporting, security procedures, and valid identification for personnel.
- Ensuring all equipment operates on DSS diesel fuel and providing DEF refills.
