Purpose

Scope of Work
CBP intends to establish a 12-month base contract with up to four option years for environmentally sound and effective Pest Control Management services. The scope includes:
- Inspection, treatment, and prevention of general arthropod, vertebrate pests (e.g., scorpions, cockroaches, termites, ants, fleas, mosquitos, mice, rats, bats, bees, wasps), and disease vectors.
- Treatment of standing water for mosquito larvae control.
- Recommending structural and procedural modifications to mitigate pest access.
- Utilizing non-chemical control technologies where possible and judiciously using pesticides with the lowest potential hazard.
- Recording and reporting all integrated pest management operations.
- Providing unscheduled services within 24 hours for urgent pest issues and offering after-hours contacts.
- Services will be performed at various U.S. Border Patrol facilities across the San Diego Sector during normal business hours (0600-1430 Monday-Friday), a minimum of once a month, and as needed.

Submission & Requirements

Responding to this RFI is not a prerequisite for participating in any future solicitation. Key performance standards include developing a Contractor's Work Plan (CWP), providing proof of California business license and commercial certifications, obtaining pesticide approval, and complying with all applicable environmental and safety regulations (e.g., NEPA, FIFRA, OSHA, EPA). Contractor personnel will be vetted by CBP.
