Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To relocate Government Property from the US Forest Service, Petersburg Ranger District's temporary office location at the Forest Service-owned Harris Building, and two additional sites in Petersburg, to consolidate facilities.

• Relocation services for Government Property between office buildings and storage facilities.
• Includes supply of materials, incidentals, transportation, labor, and supervision.
• Vacate approximately 11,300 square feet on two floors of the PDO.
• Move Government Property to the Petersburg Ranger District's temporary office at the Harris Building and to storage.

Government Responsibilities:

• Pack books and miscellaneous office materials.
• Mark all items.
• Power down and unplug all equipment.

Contractor Responsibilities:

• Provide crew and equipment for safe relocation of items.

• Provide tools and labor for disassembly/reassembly of items.

• Furnish necessary padding and protective material.

• Carefully pad items susceptible to damage (e.g., electronics, artwork, maps).

• Distribute loads to avoid crushing items.

• Maintain specified egress path widths (44-inch primary, 36-inch secondary).

• Place items labeled for B&G Storage into the storage unit.

• Strategically place items for B&G Storage and USFS Storage Building.

• Mount Large Wall Board with Map at Harris Building, with Government identifying placement.

• Strategically place File Cabinets, Safe, and Bookshelves for access at Harris Building.

• Equipment must be clean and of quality sufficient for protection of goods.

• Items must be relocated without damage.

Place of Performance:

• B&G Storage: 300 Mitkof Highway, Petersburg, Alaska (2nd floor).
• USFS Storage Building: 402C Fram Street, Petersburg, Alaska (1-story, approx. 10 stairs access).

Period of Performance:

• Work to begin as agreed to after award and notice to proceed.

• Desired start date: Approximately May 05, 2026.

• Completion: Within six (6) working days of the start date.

• Working Hours: Monday - Saturday, 7 am - 6 pm.

• Items labeled 'DO NOT MOVE' are excluded.

• Contractor must not touch items labeled 'DO NOT MOVE'.
