Statement of Work (SOW)

To procure one (1) Pfeiffer Vacuum A100 L Pump, Model Number A100L31324, to replace a broken pump used for circulating helium mixture gas in a dilution refrigerator. This pump is critical for maintaining ultra-low temperatures required for mission-critical experiments in metrology for quantum information science and electrical standards dissemination.

• Deliver one (1) Pfeiffer Vacuum A100 L Pump, Model Number A100L31324.

• The pump must be new, not used or remanufactured.

• Experimental, prototype, or custom items are not acceptable.

• "Gray market" components are not acceptable.

• All items must be shipped in original manufacturer's packaging with all original documentation and software.

• Pumping Speed: 100 m³/h

• Ultimate Pressure: 0.012 hPa

• Input connection flange: DN50 ISO-KF

• Output connection flange: DN 25 ISO KF

• Physical Footprint: 600 mm x 280 mm x 300 mm

• Delivery is required FOB Destination (or equivalent terms) not later than twelve (12) weeks After Receipt of Order (ARO).

• Brand Name Only Justification: The specified model is required to match existing equipment for interchangeability of parts and maintenance.

• Warranty: A minimum of one (1) year after acceptance.

• Payment: Invoices will be paid in arrears according to Net 30-day terms upon receipt and acceptance of a proper invoice. Advance payment is not authorized. Partial shipments and invoices are not accepted unless otherwise requested.

• Inspection and Acceptance: NIST reserves the right to perform performance tests (e.g., vacuum pressure) and visual inspections. The Government will inspect, test, and accept or reject within 7 days of receipt.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or services, issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12. The acquisition is being conducted as full and open competition. The government is seeking quotations for specific items detailed in the line items and Statement of Work.

• CLIN 0001: Pfeiffer Vacuum A100 L Pump, Model Number A100L31324 (QTY 1, Each).

• CLIN 0002: Transportation fees or other related costs at time of award (Not-to-Exceed).

• Detailed requirements are specified in the attached Statement of Work document.

• Price Quotation: Must be separate, firm-fixed-price, including all shipping costs (FOB Destination) and tariffs. Prices must remain valid for 90 days.

• Evaluation Criteria: Award will be based on the lowest price among technically acceptable offers. Technical capability will be evaluated based on submitted documentation demonstrating compliance with SOW requirements.
