This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for non-personal services to provide Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) healthcare providers to the Pinon Health Center, Navajo Area Indian Health Service (IHS). The services are intended to support the mission of the IHS by providing comprehensive, culturally acceptable personal and public health services to American Indians and Alaska Natives.

• Provide Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) services.

• Services will encompass outpatient, inpatient, and community health care.

• The contractor must possess knowledge of nursing processes, scientific and psychosocial nursing theory, biological aspects of disease, and medication dosages.

• The contractor must adhere to facility policies, Joint Commission, OSHA, IHS, and other federal licensing standards.

• Specific duties include patient assessment, administering therapeutic measures, patient education, and inter-facility transports.

• The contractor must wear a government-issued identification badge.

• The contractor must manage all patient information in accordance with HIPAA, Privacy Act, and IHS policies.

• Mandatory certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS).

• Required immunizations include Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, Meningococcal, TB test, and Influenza.

• Background checks (Level I and Level II) are required.

• Contract type: Labor-hour type contract.

• Period of Performance: June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027.

• Delivery Date: May 31, 2027.

• Estimated Quantity: 2,080 hours/year.

• Perform nursing duties and manage patient needs as directed by the Supervisor.

• Adhere to competency standards, facility policies, Joint Commission, OSHA, IHS, and other federal licensing, accreditation, and regulating body standards.

• Operate specialized equipment and report malfunctions.

• Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by the provider.

• Provide patient education, counseling, and teaching.

• Manage all patient information in accordance with HIPAA, Privacy Act, and IHS policies.

• Wear a government-issued contractor identification badge.

• Possess a valid state driver's license if required for the position.

• Obtain mandatory current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Provide a fitness for duty certificate and required immunizations (Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, Meningococcal, TB test, Influenza).

• Attend mandatory orientations and training.

• Undergo Level I and Level II background checks.
