Purpose
The objective is to modernize training doctrine for the USAF Security Forces Center, enhancing realism, increasing capacity, optimizing instructor use, and reducing live ammunition consumption through the acquisition of a high-fidelity firing simulator.
Scope of Work
The contractor shall deliver, install, configure, and provide comprehensive on-site training for one (1) new, complete InVeris FATS 100MIL virtual weapons training simulator system. Key deliverables include:
- Core system hardware (projectors, screens, sensors, computers) and FATS 100MIL software with 3D marksmanship environments.
- BlueFire® Wireless Weapon Simulators (replicating USAF M4A1 Rifles and Sig M18 Pistols) and a BlueFire® Fill Station with necessary adapters and compressed air bottle.
- Operator training for up to ten (10) personnel and Maintainer training for up to four (4) personnel.
- System Installation, Configuration, and Warranty Documentation.
- Successful System Acceptance Testing (SAT) upon installation.
