SUBJECT: Pre-Solicitation Notice FA442726R0004 – Trenchless Sewage Line Repair - Travis AFB, CA
- This notice is posted IAW FAR 5.203 “Publicizing and response time.” The Government intends to release a solicitation on or after 15 days from the date this notice for the requirement below. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs
- The contractor is to provide all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, and qualified labor necessary to investigate the extent of, and repair the damage found within the sewer line system under retail Building 650 on Travis AFB, CA 94535.
- The contractor will need to perform a video (i.e boroscope) inspection to field verify the existing pipe material/condition, size/length of pipe and fittings, and repair all sanitary sewer piping identified using a trenchless method (e.g. cured in place pipe lining).
- Perform post-repair video inspection (CCTV) of all repaired piping. Repaired piping will be free of debris and flow verified prior to placing in service.
- The contractor shall repair/replace any exterior or interior finishes (e.g. concrete, asphalt, drywall, paint, flooring, etc.) damaged during its work. The contractor is responsible for all disposal costs.
- The magnitude is expected to be from $250,000 to $500,000.
- The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the Request from Proposal (RFP) solicitation. The RFP and all plans will be posted on and may be downloaded from SAM.gov. The RFP is anticipated to be a Total Small Business set-aside.
- No amount shall be charged to the Government for solicitation documents.

- a statement of your company’s interested in attending a pre-proposal site visit and responding to a solicitation for this work in the future.
