- Certification: A Certificate of Compliance (DI-MISC-80678) is required, certifying full compliance with all specifications. Electronic signatures on Level I certification documents are accepted.
- Traceability: Maintain traceability from material to certification test reports via unique traceability numbers, heat-lot numbers, or heat-treat numbers, marked on the material.

Submission & Evaluation
- Proposal Submission: Certification data must be submitted to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard via Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) for review and acceptance prior to each material shipment. No material is to be shipped prior to acceptance.
- Certification Data CDRLs: Submission required on or before 20 days prior to scheduled delivery.
- PNSY Review: Portsmouth Naval Shipyard review/acceptance of Certification CDRLs within 45 working days after receipt.
- Evaluation Factors: Past performance will be considered in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7024.
