Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide janitorial services for three locations within the Plumas National Forest: Beckwourth Ranger Station, Plumas National Forest Supervisor’s Office, and Mount Hough Ranger Station.

• Locations:
  • Beckwourth Ranger Station (4 buildings, approx. 9,889 sq ft)
  • Plumas National Forest Supervisor’s Office (6 buildings, approx. 20,526 sq ft)
  • Mount Hough Ranger Station (2 buildings, approx. 12,500 sq ft)
• Services: Includes cleaning of carpeted and non-carpeted floors, waste receptacles, restrooms, doors, light switch plates, drinking fountains, outside entrance areas, and removal of cobwebs. Specific tasks include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and emptying trash.

• Work Hours: Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Work may be required outside regular hours (evenings, weekends) subject to agreement with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Work is not permitted on federal holidays or during office closures.

• Accessibility: 2-wheel drive vehicles are typically sufficient, but 4-wheel drive may be necessary in winter months.

• Security Clearance: Adjudication of Federal security clearance for contractor employees is required.

• Licenses and Insurance: Worker’s Compensation Insurance is required unless the contractor is exempt and provides valid documentation. Failure to provide within 10 days may result in contract termination.

• Equipment & Supplies: Contractor shall furnish all necessary supplies and equipment. A list of proposed materials must be submitted with the quote. Bio-based products must be utilized to the maximum extent possible, conforming to USDA's Designated Bio based Products List (DBPL).

• Government-Furnished Property: Includes secure lockable storage space for supplies and equipment, and keys for storage and dispensers. All keys must be returned upon contract completion.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This Request for Quotation (RFQ) seeks janitorial services for three locations within the Plumas National Forest: Beckwourth Ranger Station, Plumas National Forest Supervisor’s Office, and Mount Hough Ranger Station. The contract requires the contractor to provide all necessary management, supervision, labor, personnel, transportation, materials, equipment, and supplies.

• Services: Janitorial services to be performed 2 times per week at each of the three specified locations.
