Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision to remove and dispose of the existing gate and install a new aluminum vehicle gate system. Key tasks include:
- Utilizing and protecting existing gate posts.
- Fabricating and installing a new powder-coated aluminum gate matching specified material and design (detailed in Attachment 1).
- Furnishing and installing new, heavy-duty gate hardware (rollers, guides, stops).
- Integrating the new gate, rail, and safety systems with the existing government-owned gate operator.
- Replacing the existing gate operator rail with a compatible new one.
- Installing an additional set of UL325 Thru Beam Photoeyes (or approved equal) approximately 24 inches above existing photo-eyes.
