Scope of Work
The contractor will provide equipment and personnel for the removal, transportation, and disposal of fuel oily wastewater from three 1,000-gallon Con Vault tanks (totaling a maximum capacity of 3,000 gallons) located in the Fuel Storage yard behind Building 708, 51 Ward Rd., Hampton VA, 23665. Operations must comply with DAFI 23-201 chapter 8.2 Fuels Environmental and Safety Responsibilities. Removal will be via a 4-inch diameter hatch using a vacuum or suction pump and hoses, requiring no less than 20 feet of hose. Services are to be performed on a quarterly basis or when waste tanks are full, immediately following contract award.
Performance Standards & Special Requirements
Removal must be completed within 24 hours of a service request, and spill response must align with current environmental regulations. The contractor is responsible for reimbursing the government for any resources used to clean up contractor-caused spills. Compliance with FAR 5352.242-9000 (Contractor Access to Air Force Installations) is mandatory, and all documentation must be submitted prior to performance. Submission & Evaluation
