Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide facility support for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Western Currency Facility (WCF) Police Services Branch for conducting firearms training portions of the Annual Police In-Service, Basic Training Program (PBTP), and Quarterly Qualification classes.

• Provide training facility space for firearms instruction.

• Facility must include two indoor ranges: a ten-lane, 50-yard tactical range and a five-lane, 100-yard range.

• Ranges must be fully automated with dedicated control booths and movable running man targets.

• Ballistic catchment system must contain a .308 caliber round.

• Facility Access: Contractor must comply with internal policies and procedures for facility access. Personnel may require background investigations and specific badges (Visitor Escort, PIV). BEP reserves the right to deny access.

• Government Furnished Material: BEP will provide applicable payment, U.S. Government weapons and ammunition for training, government transportation, and BEP certified police instructional personnel.

• Contractor Furnished Material: Contractor is responsible for all other equipment and materials as identified in the Scope of Work.

• Conduct on Property: Contractors must comply with BEP rules, including restrictions on intoxicating substances, weapons, and photography without permission. Inspections of vehicles and personal items may occur.

• Support for Annual & Quarterly Firearms Qualification.

• Support for a four (4) week Police Basic Training Program (PBTP), including firearms training portions.

• Training is intended to maintain and refresh primary training programs for Police and Security Specialist personnel.

• Finalize plans & agreements, Designate Equipment, Preliminary preparation, Final Preview Activity, and Execute Plan are scheduled with primary responsibility by the Training Supervisor. Specific dates for the first three are not detailed, while the latter two are "Upon Notice to Proceed."
