Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This document outlines the requirements for providing six (6) self-contained, walk-in refrigerated boxes for food and medicine storage at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY).

• Procurement and delivery of six (6) walk-in refrigerated boxes.

• Boxes must be a minimum of 8' wide x 8' high x 40' long.

• Units must be electrically powered, capable of 24/7 operation, and maintain a temperature between -3 and 42 degrees Fahrenheit.

• Units must be hurricane proof (110 MPH winds) and water-resistant.

• Specific requirements for electrical connections (200 amps or less, 600 Volt, 40A camlok connections), forklift channels, and absence of windows.

• Outfitting with suitable attachments for overhead lifting (if applicable) and a lifting sketch/rigging diagram.

• Interior lighting with blast-proof fluorescent fixtures.

• Compliance with specified codes and standards (UFC, NFPA, NEC, OSHA, etc.).

• Provision of decals with contractor information and unit identification.

• Delivery and retrieval of units to Norfolk Naval Shipyard.

• On-call repair service within 12 hours of notification, with component replacement within 16 hours if system cannot be repaired.
