Scope of Work
NSWC PCD requires the production of up to 170 portable container systems, each measuring 40 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 9 feet 6 inches high externally. Internally, units are 39 feet 5 inches long, 7 feet 8 inches wide, and 8 feet 10 inches high. Key features include e-track on the floor, lead acid batteries wired to electrical equipment, and custom steel components (cut, bent, welded, galvanized). Containers must have doors on both ends. Production is expected to commence in Q1 FY27, with first delivery by Q2 FY27. This requirement involves access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
Capabilities Requested
Respondents should demonstrate technical expertise in machining, assembly, and production at scale. Specifically, the Government requests information on:
- Experience engineering and assembling containerized systems for military applications.
- Experience producing systems based on Government-provided drawings and technical data packages.
- Facility space (minimum 100,000 sq. ft. for workspace, plus storage).
- Major equipment available for production.
- Workforce details (number of personnel, labor mix of engineers, technicians, and welders).
Submission Requirements
Responses should be no more than 10 single-spaced pages, 8.5 x 11 inches, using a minimum 12-point Times New Roman font. Submissions must include:
- A one-page company profile (name, address, POC, SBA size, employees, CAGE, UEI, products, customers).
- A summary outline and capabilities statement addressing the requirements.
- Contract numbers and descriptions for similar past work, including CPARs ratings.
- Any other information aiding the Government's acquisition strategy. Proprietary information must be clearly marked.
