Statement of Need / SOW

To procure two (2) Portable Vehicle Barriers to augment Force Protection operations at Building 2086/Housing Gate, McConnell AFB.

• Provide portable vehicle barriers with a 12-foot opening for vehicle passage.

• Barriers must be Department of Defense Science and Technology Management (DOD STM) crash rated.

• Barriers must be hydraulic operated and surface mounted, requiring no digging or pavement preparation.

• Must be capable of setup within 30 minutes.

• Power options include commercial 110V/20-amp or solar panel battery.

• System must include a Department of Transportation trailer assembly for mobility.

• Features a remote open/close push button system with control cable and a 300-foot power cable.

• Gross Vehicle Weight: 10,000 to 20,000 pounds.

• Barriers must have reflective white/yellow marking tape.

• A setup and system troubleshooting instruction guide must be provided.

• Systems requiring manual positioning by personnel will not be considered.

• Contractor must provide all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, and transportation for delivery.

• Delivery required no later than 60 calendar days after receipt of order.

• Delivery to McConnell AFB.

• A minimum of 1-year warranty for each barrier is required.
