Eligibility & Submission Requirements
This opportunity prioritizes Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE), defined as businesses with:
- At least 51% combined ownership by Indians, Federally Recognized Indian Tribes, or Alaska Native Corporations.
- At least 51% of earnings from the contract received by Indians or Indian Tribes.
- Management and daily operations controlled by one or more individuals who are Indians.
Interested parties must submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet the requirement and their IEE status. This includes detailing how the company meets the IEE definition, how at least 51% of contract earnings will be received by Indians/Tribes, and how management/daily operations are controlled by Indians. If partnering with a subcontractor, the statement must clarify how these conditions are met. A completed Buy Indian Act Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form (attached to the original notice) must also be submitted.
