• Marking in accordance with MIL-STD-130, REV N.
• Packaging in accordance with MIL-STD-2073.
• Government Source Inspection (GSI) is required.
• Freight is FOB Origin and handled by the Navy as per the Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) Statement of Work.

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Solicitation (RFQ) for repair services. The resultant award will be issued bilaterally, requiring contractor acceptance.
• Set-Aside: None specified.
• Option Quantity: The Government intends to include an option for an increased quantity, potentially up to 50% of Item 0001.
• Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT): This is a critical factor, measured from the physical receipt of the asset at the contractor's facility to the date of asset acceptance. Contractors must propose their RTAT.
• Price Reduction for Delays: Any unexcusable delay in meeting the required RTAT will incur a price reduction per unit/per month, which the contractor must specify in their quote.
• Beyond Repair (BR/BER): For items determined to be BR/BER, a T&E fee/price will apply, and a reduced contract price (Not-to-Exceed $___) will be negotiated.

• Required Quote Information:
  • Unit Price, Total Price, and proposed Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT) in days.
  • Capacity constraints if the Government's required RTAT cannot be met.
  • Indication of Firm-fixed-Price, Estimated, or Not-to Exceed (NTE).
  • Return Material Authorization # (RMA) and Delivery Vehicle (if applicable).
  • For new items or price increases: NSN of similar item, redacted invoice, and basis of pricing.
  • Awardee CAGE, Inspection & Acceptance CAGE, and Facility/Subcontractor CAGE.
  • New unit price and delivery lead-time for comparison purposes.
  • Proposed price reduction amount per unit/per month for RTAT delays, up to a maximum.
• Eligibility: Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item will be considered. Proof of authorization on company letterhead must accompany the offer.
• Pre-submission Action: Verify nomenclature, part number, and NSN prior to responding.
