The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, hereby announces the solicitation for “Powerhouse 1 and 2 DC Panel Board Replacement”. The solicitation will close on 19 December 2025. The solicitation is 100% Small Business set-aside.
Site Visit:
A Site Visit is scheduled and additional information regarding the site visit is provided in the solicitation in Section
00 21 00. The site visit is scheduled for 19 November 2025.
Project Description:
This project involves the comprehensive replacement of specified electrical equipment across Powerhouse 1 and Powerhouse 2. The base scope for Powerhouse 1 includes the Main 125V DC Station Board, the Preferred AC Panel, and the Emergency Lighting Panel along with its associated Emergency Lighting Panel Transfer Switch. For Powerhouse 2, the base scope covers the Main 125V DC Station Board, the Preferred AC Panel, and four Emergency Lighting Transfer Switches. Key considerations for this project include the necessary extension of main feeder wires by 20-30 feet to connect to the new panels, which will involve replacing brittle sections below deck, and the extension and finishing of existing concrete bases to accommodate the new, wider replacement equipment. The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 548
calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance.

The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
