Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To plan and complete environmental sampling of facilities at NASA Wallops Flight Facility to determine the presence and extent of Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) and Other Regulated Material (ORM), and to support their removal prior to demolition. The sampling will also assess Lead-Based Paint (LBP) and PCBs-in-paint to quantify environmental contamination and inform removal and disposal methods.

• Conduct pre-demolition surveys and environmental sampling for ACM, ORM, LBP, and PCBs-in-paint.

• Sample various building materials (e.g., concrete, wood, metal, wallboard) to estimate contamination levels.

• Perform Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) analysis for RCRA 8 metals and PCB testing.

• Provide photographic documentation of building exteriors and interiors, including any identified ACM/ORM and electrical components.
