The Department of the Air Force (DAF) issued an RFI seeking interest from industry on 11 August 2025 (Notice ID DM-500-2025). DAF intends to evaluate opportunities for the lease and development of approximately 500 acres of real property at DM AFB using the Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) authority granted under 10 United States Code § 2667 at DM AFB. The DAF is seeking consideration in the form of ground lease payments (cash) and/or In-Kind Consideration (IKC).
The DAF anticipates conventional commercial uses of the Properties, with no lease back for DAF use.
