• Section 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders:

  • Electronic submission of bids via email to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist is now required. No hardcopy bids will be accepted.

  • Bids must include the Solicitation Number and Project Name in the email subject line.

This solicitation is for the Cedar Rapids Flood Risk Management Project, specifically Reach 1, South Railyard Floodwall, located in Cedar Rapids, IA. The project is estimated to be between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside Invitation for Bid.

The scope of work includes demolition, temporary traffic control, clearing and grubbing, temporary diversion of water, riprap, bedding stone and aggregate surfacing placement, metal sheet pile and steel H-pile installation, toe drain installation, floodwall construction, watermain modifications, storm sewer installation, seeding, and site restoration.
