Purpose & Scope
This Special Notice announces an Industry Day to communicate objectives for the PrSM Inc 4 rapid prototyping effort. The program seeks to develop and demonstrate a PrSM with 1000km+ range, HIMARS compatibility, and capability against moving maritime and relocatable land targets. The competitive fly-off in 4QFY28 will assess candidate solutions.
Industry Day Details

- Registration: Mandatory registration and Visit Requests are due by March 13, 2026. Attendees require active DoD Security Clearances and must submit a one-page description of their anticipated prototype solution and its maturity.
- Questions: All questions must be submitted by March 13, 2026, to the email inbox listed in the attached document. Q&A will be presented at Industry Day and posted with the Request for Solutions (RFS).
Acquisition Strategy
The acquisition strategy involves a multi-phase lifecycle utilizing Other Transactions (OT) for research and prototyping. A two-step competitive process is planned, including a Solution Brief and a Joint Research & Prototype Proposal. The Request for Solutions (RFS) is planned for release in April 2026, with an intent for seamless transition to prototyping and potential follow-on production.
