Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for the Contractor to engineer, furnish, install, and test (EFI&T) the upgrade of premise wiring infrastructure to Cat-6 for Building 704 (B704) at Columbus AFB, MS. It also includes the removal of existing outdated premise wiring.

• Removal and disposal of existing cabling and termination material.

• Installation of new Cat-6 cabling, including approximately 37 cable/jacks (15 duplex, 1 quad, 3 wall drops).

• Installation of new Cat-6 TIA-568B 48-port patch panels in existing communication cabinets.

• Re-use of existing wall-mounted communication cabinets.

• Installation of appropriate horizontal/vertical cable management.

• Installation of cable support hardware such as cable trays, J-hooks, and cable dropouts.

• Grounding and bonding of new and existing racks/cabinets and cable trays.

• Provision of new Cat-6 patch cords for network switches and user connections.

• Fire-stopping of cable penetrations.

• Compliance with current ANSI/TIA telecommunication installation and testing commercial standards and Columbus AFB installation standards.

• Equipment and materials must be new and not refurbished.

• Purchased equipment must be maintainable and supportable for at least five (5) years (Government Re-use Equipment excluded).

• Installation shall comply with relevant Federal, State, local, and Air Force environmental regulations.

• Structured cabling shall utilize Plenum-rated Cat-6 compliant cables, equipment, and connections.

• Cables shall be labeled appropriately per Columbus AFB standards and Appendix B.

• Place of Performance: Columbus AFB, MS.

• Period of Performance: 90 days from actual contract award date.

• Hours of Operation: Routine duty hours, with potential for work outside normal hours coordinated with the 14th CS/SCXP POC.

• Contractor shall provide a Project Manager (PM) and an on-site team leader/Site POC.

• Personnel must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• No security clearances are required; work is at the UNCLASSIFIED level.

• Contractor shall process a Site Visit Request Letter for base access.

• A one-year warranty or manufacturer's standard commercial warranty (whichever is longer), including a one-year workmanship warranty, is required.

• Deliverables include As-Built drawings, Work Schedule, Status Reports, Meeting Minutes, Cutover and Test Plan, and Test Report, as detailed in Table 1 (CDRLs A001-A006).

• Applicable standards are listed in Appendix A, including Federal, Military, and Commercial standards.
