Under this Solicitation Notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District issues Solicitation No. W912P622B0006 for bidding purposes. Therefore, provided hereunder is the relevant bid package for the construction project entitled, "Stormwater Improvements, Hammond, Lake County, Indiana (USACE Acquisition)."
PROJECT INFORMATION: The project work involves the construction of increased capacity to convey stormwater from the Dowling Park neighborhood eastward to a 90" diameter storm water interceptor on Kentucky Street. Increased capacity to convey storm water will be achieved with the installation of a new 54" storm sewer pipe. Approximately 1,630 linear feet of 54" pipe will be installed using open trench construction methods. All of the work will be conducted within the public right-of-way (176th Place or Parrish Avenue) or on property/parcels owned by Hammond through the Hammond Park District and the City of Hammond Redevelopment Commission.
