The Defense Health Agency (DHA), through the 88th Medical Group at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), Ohio, is soliciting proposals for Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services for Commercial Food Service Equipment. This requirement is for non-personal services to ensure the continuous operation of equipment located at the Nutritional Medicine Flight (Building 830). This is a re-solicitation of a previously canceled requirement, now issued on an Unrestricted basis.
Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and transportation for comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) and on-call repair services. Key services include scheduled quarterly PM, on-call remedial repairs, and emergency repairs with a mandatory 4-hour on-site response time for emergencies. Equipment includes combi ovens, stoves, ice makers, serving lines, and ware washing machines. Technicians must possess current certifications (e.g., HVAC Level II, EPA 608 Universal, R-410A) and a minimum of five years of corporate experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair. Replacement parts must be new OEM, ENERGY STAR® or FEMP-designated where practicable, carry a 90-day warranty, and have a maximum 5% markup.
