Scope of Work

The contractor will provide comprehensive preventive maintenance services for the Embassy's Potable and Recycled Water treatment systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining potable water systems to specified parameters.
  • Controlling water-related issues such as corrosion, scaling, deposits, and microbiological fouling.
  • Providing necessary chemical products, application services, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Conducting bi-annual site visits and providing 4 hours of annual familiarization training in English and Spanish.
  • Submitting a written Safety Plan and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable local, federal, and international standards, including NSF/ANSI, AWWA, ASTM, NFPA, UL, IEEE, NEMA, OSHA, and U.S. Dept. of State SHEM requirements.
  • While repairs are not included, offerors must provide current labor rates for potential repairs and emergency services.

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Firm Fixed-Price.
  • Period of Performance: One base year plus one option year (total of 24 months if option is exercised).
  • Set-Aside: Unrestricted. U.S. firms are eligible for payment in USD. Local/foreign firms may be paid in USD if they have a USD bank account in Mexico, otherwise in local currency.
