Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive preventive maintenance services for the Embassy's Potable and Recycled Water treatment systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining potable water systems to specified parameters.
- Controlling water-related issues such as corrosion, scaling, deposits, and microbiological fouling.
- Providing necessary chemical products, application services, monitoring, and reporting.
- Conducting bi-annual site visits and providing 4 hours of annual familiarization training in English and Spanish.
- Submitting a written Safety Plan and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable local, federal, and international standards, including NSF/ANSI, AWWA, ASTM, NFPA, UL, IEEE, NEMA, OSHA, and U.S. Dept. of State SHEM requirements.
- While repairs are not included, offerors must provide current labor rates for potential repairs and emergency services.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Firm Fixed-Price.
- Period of Performance: One base year plus one option year (total of 24 months if option is exercised).
- Set-Aside: Unrestricted. U.S. firms are eligible for payment in USD. Local/foreign firms may be paid in USD if they have a USD bank account in Mexico, otherwise in local currency.

Submission & Evaluation

- Required Submissions: Completed SF-1449 (blocks 12, 17, 19-24, and 30), Section 1 (The Schedule, Pricing), proof of active SAM registration, and additional information as required in Sections 3 and 4.
