Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (PM) services for 3M Steri-Vac Ethylene Oxide (EO) Sterilizers and associated Abator systems used by the Division of Veterinary Resources (DVR) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). These services are critical for maintaining the operational readiness of surgical suites and ensuring compliance with safety and accreditation standards.

• Perform semi-annual scheduled inspections, cleaning, calibration, adjustment, and component inspection for specific sterilizer and abator units located at the Bethesda Campus (Building 14E) and Poolesville Campus (Building 102).

• Provide all labor and replacement parts necessary for proper equipment function.

• Offer unlimited interim service calls during normal business hours.

• Include documentation of all inspections and services performed.

• Incorporate engineering updates applicable to the specific production lot of the machines.

• Cover installation labor for catalytic bed replacement (catalytic bed itself is excluded from PMA coverage).
