Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (PM) services for 3M Steri-Vac Ethylene Oxide (EO) Sterilizers and associated Abator systems used by the Division of Veterinary Resources (DVR) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

• Equipment to be serviced:

  • Bethesda Campus (Building 14E, Room 119A): Sterilizer GS5 (Serial Nos. AA000025, AB000345) and Abator 50A (Serial No. 301090).
  • Poolesville Campus (Building 102): Sterilizer GS5 (Serial No. AA000027).

• Associated Consumables: Supply of manufacturer-approved ethylene oxide sterilization cartridges (Part No. 7100044555 - 4-100 ETO Cartridge) on an as-needed basis.

• Service Requirements: Maintain equipment in a safe, compliant, and fully operational condition per manufacturer specifications.

• Preventive Maintenance: Semi-annual scheduled inspections including cleaning, calibration, adjustment, inspection of critical components, and replacement of susceptible parts.

• Included Services: All labor and replacement parts, unlimited interim service calls during normal business hours, certified factory-trained service personnel, documentation of all inspections, engineering updates, and supply of specified cartridges.

• Base Year: June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027

• Four Option Years, extending through May 31, 2031.

• Billing is quarterly in arrears.
