Quick Summary
The Department of the Air Force (DEPT OF DEFENSE), specifically FA8125 AFSC PZIMA, has issued a Presolicitation for a Process Vacuum Pump system. This opportunity seeks a contractor to provide a turnkey solution for the addition of an oil-lubricated rotary screw vacuum pump and an integrated control panel to an existing system, ensuring fully redundant operation. The project includes all materials, labor, site preparation, delivery, installation, and commissioning. The place of performance is S Coffeyville, OK.
Scope of Work
The contractor will provide a new Quincy QSV-530 rotary screw vacuum pump or equivalent, with a nominal capacity of 510 CFM and a vacuum range of 18" HgV to 29.9" HgV. Key specifications include 480V, 3-phase, 60 Hz electrical requirements, maximum dimensions of 51" L x 38" W x 44" H, and a Variable Speed Drive system. The pump must feature oil/air separation, an oil cooler, a condensate system, an automatic inlet valve, air-cooled sound-insulated enclosure, real-time monitoring, automatic restart, and a maximum noise level of 76 dB. A comprehensive 2-year warranty covering parts and labor, including periodic PM costs, is required.
An integrated control system is also required, featuring lead/lag sequencing for optimal energy efficiency. The PLC controller must support OPC UA (preferred) or BACnet protocol, comply with ISO 62443 security, and allow secure wired remote access via Tinker AFB's intranet. Automation capabilities include scheduling, alarm notifications, historical data logging, energy management, and custom control routines. A HTML-based touchscreen HMI will display vacuum levels, pump temperature, operational status, fault codes, and alarms.
Project execution involves furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and tools for installation and commissioning, including start-up procedures and full capacity testing. Deliverables include detailed PLC controller information, data tag documentation, comprehensive as-built documentation (drawings, specifications, BOM, O&M manuals), and on-site training for operators and maintenance staff.
