Scope of Work
This solicitation requires the provision of Socket Head Cap Screws in accordance with Marotta drawing 235445-0003, Item 60. Key material specifications include MIL-DTL-1222, Grade 630, with chemical properties per ASTM-F593 and mechanical properties per MIL-DTL-1222. Required testing includes Liquid Penetrant Inspection or Magnetic Particle Inspection, Thread Inspection (FED-STD-H28 series), and Wedge Tensile Tests. The contract is a "DO" rated order certified for national defense use under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) and is issued pursuant to Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities (EAF).
Quality Assurance & Traceability
Contractors must maintain a quality system compliant with ISO-9001 (or MIL-I-45208) and calibration systems per ISO-10012/ANSI-Z540.3 (or MIL-STD-45662). Strict material traceability is required from the material to certification test reports, identified by unique traceability, heat-lot, or heat-treat numbers. Quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis certifications are mandatory, and re-certification is required if material properties are altered during processing.
