All sleeves must be manufactured from Copper Nickel Alloy C96400 (ASTM B369) via centrifugal casting, adhering to precise dimensions, tolerances, surface finishes, run-out, and concentricity specifications. No repairs of sleeves are permitted.

Key Requirements & Deliverables

  • Material Certification: Chemical analysis required for each delivery order.
  • Testing: Hydrostatic inspection/test (ASTM E1003) and dimensional inspection for each sleeve. Weldability testing may apply to certain data sheets as per referenced specification P-243-0085 Rev K.
  • Quality Assurance: Contractor must maintain an ISO 9001 compliant inspection system and an ASQ/ISO/IEC 17025 compliant calibration program.
  • Packaging: Standard commercial packaging is unacceptable. Each item must be individually packaged and marked in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E, MIL-STD-129R, and specific ASTM standards for wood boxes, including ISO/IEC 16388-2007 Code 39 bar coding.
