Key modifications include:

• Updating a dimension in Zone F6 from 1.25 to 0.756 +/- 0.030, with a revised measurement point.

• Replacing a 2x 1.90 dimension in Zone B5 with 2x 1.406 +/- 0.030, also with a revised measurement point.

• Replacing a 1.25 dimension in Zone F4 with 0.756 +/- 0.030, with a revised measurement point.

• Numerous deletions of reference dimensions, true position callouts, parallelism specifications, and basic dimensions.

• PC 3 (Housing Assembly) on Sheets 3 of 6557947D, 6557926D, and 6557925D.

• Specific zones within these sheets, including F6, F3, E3, B5, A5, B3, B4, F8, F7, G5, F5, and F4.

This document is a security agreement required for the protection of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI). It outlines the stipulations for handling sensitive specifications and documents provided as part of RFQ SPMYM326Q4051.

• Acknowledgment of receipt of sensitive specifications/documents.
• Agreement to use information solely for preparing quotations or processing orders.
• Prohibition of transmission outside the company or to foreign nationals.
• Requirement for secure storage and restricted access.
• Prohibition of copying unless permitted by the Contracting Officer.
• Requirement to return all documents in their entirety to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard upon contract completion.
• A section for signature, date, typed name, title, company, and address.
• Reference to DD Form 2345 as an enclosure.

Bidders must understand and agree to these terms to handle sensitive NNPI. Compliance with these security stipulations is mandatory for participation in the RFQ and subsequent contract performance.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. It constitutes the only solicitation, and paper copies will not be issued. The requirement is for proximity switches for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, identified by FSC Code 5930 and NAICS Code 334419. This is a BRAND NAME MANDATORY requirement.

• Procurement of proximity switches.

• Contractor First Article Testing (FAT) applies to all non-waived, non-approved sources. Currently waived sources are Ametek SCP, Inc. (0DNZ3) and Powertronic Systems Florida (6ZMJ9).

• Place of Manufacture / Country of Origin is required for all items.

• Offerors must complete and include provisions 52.204-24, 52.204-26, 252.204-7016, and 252.204-7019.

• If not the manufacturer, provide Manufacturer’s Name, Location, and Business Size.

• This requirement is processed utilizing a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.

• The evaluation will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) criteria.

• This will be evaluated as “All or None”.

• Delivery Point: PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD, RECEIVING OFFICER, BLDG 170, 2ND FLOOR, CODE KMC, KITTERY, ME 03904.

• Payment terms are Net 30 Days AFTER acceptance of material.

• Use the RFQ Form Attachment for pricing.

• Include freight in pricing quotes.

• Vendor shall list the country of origin for each line item.

• Item 0001: 12 EA Proximity switch, VLS RUGGEDIZED DESIGN SWITCH, MAGNETIC, PARALLEL WIRED; DPDT; MANF IAW DWG 6557925/D AS MODIFIED BY ATTACHED CHANGES; P/N 6557925 IAW Attachment 1 – Change Specifications.

• Item 0002: 24 EA Proximity switch, VLS RUGGEDIZED DESIGN SWITCH, MAGNETIC, PARALLEL WIRED; DPDT; MANF IAW DWG 6557926/D AS MODIFIED BY ATTACHED CHANGES; P/N 6557926 IAW Attachment 1 – Change Specifications.

• Item 0003: 24 EA Proximity switch, VLS RUGGEDIZED DESIGN SWITCH, MAGNETIC, PARALLEL WIRED; DPDT; MANF IAW DWG 6557947/D AS MODIFIED BY ATTACHED CHANGES; P/N 6557947 IAW Attachment 1 – Change Specifications.

• Brand Name Mandatory: Requirement for Naval Undersea Warfare Center items.

• Drawings: Available upon request with a valid DD Form 2345 and signed security agreement.

• First Article Testing: Applies to all non-waived, non-approved sources.

• Set Aside: Small Business.
