Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This document outlines the requirements for the overhaul of a Pump Unit, Centrifugal, NSN 4320-01-199-9751, Part Number 3655S-1 1/4 x 1 1/2 x 7, used on the WMEC 210 Class Fresh Water System.

• Disassemble, overhaul, assemble, paint, test, prepare for delivery, and ship the designated Fresh Water Service Pump.

• The overhaul must be performed in conjunction with "General Requirements" specified in the package.

• The contractor shall refer to OEM technical publications and procedures.

• The contractor shall ensure the pump is reconditioned to a "like new" condition.

• Specific items to be inspected for proper dimension, tolerance, and run-out include rotors, shafts, bearing housings, shaft sleeves, impellers, volutes, and gears.

• Discrepancies must be documented and reported within 10 days of submitting the Receiving Report.

• The contractor shall provide advance notice for pump unit tests and inspections.

• Hydrostatic test to be conducted at 150% of rated working pressure or mechanical seal rating, for a period of ten minutes.

• Operational test to be conducted using compatible OEM recommended test fluid, in accordance with ANSI/HI 3.6 Rotary Pump Tests.

• Paint preparation and application must adhere to SSPC-SP-3, with specific primer and finish coat requirements (5-6 mils DFT primer, 3-6 mils DFT finish coat, dark blue color #15044).

• The document does not explicitly state a period of performance for the overhaul itself, but mentions a warranty period of up to two (2) years after delivery for "onboard repair" or "system stock" items.
