Purpose & Scope
This RFI is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government is seeking information from sources capable of providing twenty (20) new, Trade Agreement Act (TAA) compliant, color MFDs with specific technical and security features. The devices are intended for USAG Humphreys IMCOM in South Korea.
Key requirements include:
- Procurement and delivery of 20 color MFDs and full sets of toner (black, cyan, magenta, yellow).
- Installation and key operator training.
- One-year manufacturer's OCONUS warranty.
- Devices must be operational within 30 days after receipt of order.
Technical & Security Requirements
MFDs must have a minimum print speed of 45 pages per minute, 1,200 x 1,200 DPI resolution, and support current operating systems (Windows 11+, macOS 13+, Server 2016+). They require a minimum of 6 GB memory and drivers for Adobe PS3, PCL5E, and PCL6. Devices must operate on standard U.S. 120-volt 60 Hz AC electrical current.
Security requirements are stringent, including:
- Hard drive sanitization (NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 1).
- Encryption (FIPS 140-3).
- Disabling of unnecessary USB ports.
- Compliance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and SMARTCARD Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for unclassified devices.
- Cybersecurity supply chain risk management per NIST SP 800-161 Rev. 1.
- Inclusion on the NIAP CCEVS Product Compliant List and capability for RMF for DOD IT accreditation.
