• Quantity Discrepancy (Section B, Item 0002): The government clarified that the quantity for this item is "1 each" (one unit), despite the solicitation listing "10 EA" in the quantity column.
• Dimensional Variances (Section C.3): The government has not established a fixed tolerance percentage for dimensional variances. Acceptability will be determined on a case-by-case basis during the technical evaluation, with offerors needing to demonstrate that variances do not require structural modifications or impact operational use or safety.
• TAA/BAA Compliance (Section I, Clause 52.225): This procurement is subject to the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). All offered products must comply with TAA requirements. Offerors must add the country of origin for each line item.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the replacement of existing legacy X-ray screening systems with modern, high-performance equipment at multiple Government Publishing Office (GPO) locations. The goal is to enhance detection capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with federal standards.

• Procurement, delivery, installation, testing, and training for X-ray screening systems.

• Removal and disposal of existing X-ray equipment (if directed).

• System configuration, calibration, and integration of components.

• Operational testing and certification.

• On-site user training.
