Purchase of One (1) Mid-Size Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) for US Embassy Rabat

This solicitation (RFQ 19M05526Q0006) is for the provision and delivery of one (1) new 2026 model-year Mid-Size Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) to the U.S. Embassy Rabat, Morocco. The government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) responsible contractor.

• One (1) new 2026 model-year Mid-Size Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).

• Vehicle must be commonly available in Morocco.

• Must meet or exceed detailed specifications including:

  • Type: Mid-Size SUV, AWD or 4WD, Left-Hand Drive (LHD).
  • Seating Capacity: 5 to 7 passengers.
  • Fuel Type: Diesel, Gasoline, or Hybrid.
  • Transmission: Automatic (6-8 speed preferred).
  • Exterior Color: Gray or Black; Interior Color: Black or dark tone.
  • Engine Power: 180-300 horsepower.
  • Cargo Volume: ≥ 700 liters with rear seats up.
  • Ground Clearance: ≥ 200 mm.
  • Compliance with Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (ABS, ESP, traction control, multizone airbags, etc.).
  • Driver Assistance features (adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring preferred, rear-view camera/360°, parking sensors, GPS).
  • Interior Features (multizone climate control, power features, keyless entry, infotainment system with touchscreen, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto).
  • Exterior Features (18-20 inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, fog lamps, all-season tires, window tinting, tow hitch, rustproofing).
  • Electrical & Standard Equipment (manufacturer-standard).

• Upon delivery, contractor must provide: Owner's manual (English), warranty documentation, maintenance schedule, technical repair manuals and parts catalog, and dealer/service center information.

• Vehicle must be available from a dealer in Rabat or surrounding cities.

• Warranty: Minimum 5 years or 150,000 km.

• Delivery Timeline: Within 45 days of contract award.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price (FFP).

• Pricing must include all labor, materials, overhead, profit, and transportation.

• Value Added Tax (VAT) must be listed separately.

• Offer Validity: Minimum 45 calendar days from quotation submission.

• Payment: Within 30 days of receipt of a proper invoice after delivery.

• Offers will be evaluated solely on mandatory specifications and price (LPTA).

• Additional features or options will not be considered in technical evaluation or price ranking.

• Quotation Due Date: May 26, 2026, 17:00 GMT+1.

• Submission Method: Electronically to rabatgsocontracts@state.gov.

• Electronic submissions must not exceed 30MB.

• Only companies or individuals specializing in this field should apply.

• SAM Registration: Offerors must be registered in SAM.gov or complete FAR 52.204-90 if not registered. Provide Unique Entity Identifier (UEI).

• The government reserves the right to place an order with any vendor whose offered SUV meets specifications and can ensure the shortest delivery timeframe.

• If awarded vendor fails to deliver within the agreed timeframe, the Embassy reserves the right to withdraw the order.
