  • Price: Must be fair and reasonable. Failure to price all line items may result in exclusion.
  • Technical Approach: Must demonstrate capability to meet requirements and understanding of the SOW.
  • Past Performance: Will be evaluated using an acceptable, neutral, or unacceptable rating.

• Evaluation Method: Lowest price technically acceptable criteria will be used.

• This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To secure supplies, for purchase and delivery, of a blended mix of fertilizers and Elemental or Popcorn Sulphur for the Chico Seed Orchard (CSO) and Foresthill Seed Orchard (FSO).

• Fertilizer for CSO: A blended mix for 84 acres, divided into four separate mixes.

• Fertilizer for FSO: A blended mix for 45 acres, in one mix.

• Sulphur for CSO: 84 acres of elemental or popcorn (pelletized) Sulphur (bulk, not bagged) to remedy soil pH.

• Spreader Rental: For applying fertilizers at the CSO location only.

• Specific fertilizer mixes and application rates per acre are detailed for both CSO and FSO.

• Sulphur application rate is 750 lb/A for 84 acres at CSO.

• Location: Chico Seed Orchard (CSO) on the Mendocino National Forest in Chico, CA, and Foresthill Seed Orchard (FSO).
