Quick Summary
The Department of the Interior (DOI) is conducting market research through a Request for Information (RFI) to identify service providers for comprehensive physical therapy, rehabilitation, and sports performance-oriented clinical services. These services are intended for federal employees, other federal staff, and the public within the Stewart L. Udall Building in Washington, DC. Capability Statements are due June 3, 2026.
Scope of Work
DOI seeks providers experienced in evidence-based, individualized, one-on-one care. Services should focus on restoring movement, reducing pain, and supporting long-term functional performance. Desired capabilities include manual therapy, Graston Technique, trigger point dry needling, and other specialized interventions for musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and postoperative rehabilitation. A low volume, high attention care model is preferred, along with technology-enabled and/or performance-oriented rehabilitation approaches. Additional services like massages, acupuncture, and chiropractic may also be offered.
Facility & Space Information
The services will be provided within the Stewart L. Udall Building at 1849 C Street NW, Washington, DC 20240. DOI is considering making one or both of two vacant spaces available: 777 sq ft and 836 sq ft. Facility usage charges may apply. The building is accessible to federal employees and the public, and includes amenities like a gymnasium (potential use via IDRA) and cafeteria. No building parking is available.
