REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is issuing this source sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in providing artificial intelligence (AI) testing for prostate cancer, to support the Rocky Mountain Regional VAMC located at 1700 N. Wheeling St. Aurora, CO 80045. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.

The purpose of this RFI is to gather information that will assist in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for this requirement. This notice does not constitute a solicitation and does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service.

The Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) at RMRVAMC seeks to enhance diagnostic capabilities in accordance with federal regulations, accreditation standards, and clinical best practices. Specifically, the service requires AI-based testing that aligns with the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines and other oncology clinical practice standards. This testing is intended to support treatment decision-making for patients with localized prostate cancer by identifying those at risk of metastasis and those likely to benefit from combination radiation and Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT).

The Contractor shall provide AI-based prostate cancer testing on a cost-per-test basis. Interested parties are invited to submit capability statements that detail their ability to meet the requirements outlined above. Responses should include relevant experience, technical capabilities, and any applicable certifications or accreditations.
