Sources Sought Notice (SSN)

This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 for market research purposes. Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To establish a reference laboratory for performing T-Spot Testing to identify individuals infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, essential for TB screening in healthcare settings.

• Provide T-Spot reference laboratory services to G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VAMC (GVAMC), Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service Department.

• Contractor must possess Clinical Laboratory Improvement Acts (CLIA) and College of American Pathologists (CAP) accreditation and maintain good standing.

• Provide daily specimen pick-up services from GVAMC to the testing location, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

• Provide CLIA and CAP accreditation/certification.

• Return test results within 72 hours of sample submission.

• Include VA Identification Card Number (VA ICN) or VA Electronic Data Interchange Personal Identifier (VA EDIPI) on patient reports for VA laboratories running VistA Lab.

• Contractor shall not create or maintain any non-public GVSMVAMC records not tied to the contract.

• Contractor shall not retain, use, sell, or disseminate copies of deliverables containing Privacy Act information or information protected by FOIA exemptions.

• GVSMVAMC owns the rights to all data and records produced under the contract.

• All contractor employees must complete required training, including records management training.
