Purpose

Scope of Work
Contractors will provide comprehensive pharmacy contingency services, including:
- Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services.
- First fill of initial prescriptions for eligible Veterans (no refills).
- Provision of compounded sterile or non-sterile products and seasonal/non-seasonal vaccines.
- Medication counseling by licensed Pharmacists consistent with OBRA-90.
- Adherence to the VA National Formulary, with generic drugs dispensed unless on the VA DRUG STANDARDIZATION LIST.
- Services cover Brand Name Prescriptions (Discount from AWP), Generic Prescriptions (Discount from AWP), Vaccination, and Specialty Compound Medication.
- Pharmacies must be within a five-mile radius of main Medical Center campuses, CBOCs, OPCs, or Veterans' locations.

Services are anticipated across the Western States Network Consortium (WSNC), encompassing:
- VISN 17: Texas, Eastern New Mexico
- VISN 19: Montana, Wyoming, Eastern Idaho, Eastern Nevada, Utah, Colorado
- VISN 20: Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska
