A minimum of four key personnel are required: two IONM Technologists and two Neurophysiologist Physicians.

- Neurophysiologist Physicians: Must hold a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state, territory, or D.C. Must be Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) and possess a Fellowship in Intraoperative Neuromonitoring.
- IONM Technologists: Must hold a certificate (CNIM) from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET).
- All Personnel: Must be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent, with up-to-date continuing education. Credentialing and privileging will follow VHA Directives 1100.20 and 1100.21.
