Scope of Work

- Replace at least seven (7) damaged or weakened impact-resistant glass panels, and any others discovered during inspection, ensuring they meet Miami-Dade impact-resistance codes, ARS 242.1, Florida state, and applicable building codes.
- Reseal/recaulk all exterior impact-resistant windows and panels. Resealing is to be performed only on the outside of the structure and can be done on top of existing sealant.
- Utilize sealant recommended by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) (Super Sky Products) or the replacement panel manufacturer, suitable for South Florida conditions (30-110F, high humidity, strong winds).
- Adhere to strict quarantine protocols and biocontainment training provided by USDA staff, as the facility must remain operational. Work may be phased.
- Provide all labor and materials. Government-furnished equipment includes two operational scissor lifts for interior use.
- The period of performance is 180 days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
Contract Details
